NEO& / Legal / Certificate Terms
Certificate Terms
01About these terms
These terms apply to attendance records, completion certificates, professional credentials, badges and verification records associated with NEO& programs. Additional rules may apply to credentials delivered under license or accreditation from a partner.
02Earning a certificate or credential
Different programs may issue different forms of recognition. An attendance certificate confirms that the stated attendance requirement was met. For NEO& public programs that requirement is at least 80% of the live delivery. A completion certificate may also require completion of specified learning or assessment activities. A professional credential is awarded only when all published certification requirements have been satisfied.
The requirements shown for the relevant program at the time of enrollment apply to that cohort unless a change is necessary to protect assessment integrity or comply with partner or legal requirements.
03Who administers the credentials
NEO& designs, administers and issues the NEO& credentials identified on the Academy pages, including Performance Intelligence Architect and Strategy Execution Designer. NEO& is responsible for their assessment standards, results and register.
The four Strategy Dynamics certification programs are delivered and administered by NEO& under an authorized license from Strategy Dynamics Ltd and are issued under that company's authority. Strategy Dynamics Ltd approves the assessment methodology and the certificate wording; NEO& designs and administers the assessment, marks the work and issues the certificate to candidates who meet the approved requirements. Certificates carry the Strategy Dynamics name and mark. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the Strategy Dynamics method or marks.
The OKRmentors certification programs are delivered by an accredited trainer from OKRmentors under the Expert Master Agreement. The examination is set and administered by OKRmentors, and the credential is issued by OKRmentors. Questions about an OKRmentors credential after issue should be directed to OKRmentors.
04Assessment integrity
Assessment work must be the candidate's own unless collaboration is expressly permitted. A candidate must not impersonate another person, obtain unauthorized assistance, fabricate evidence, submit confidential information without permission, or misrepresent another person's work as their own.
Use of AI or other tools is permitted only to the extent stated in the assessment instructions. Where disclosure of tool use is required, failure to disclose it may be treated as an integrity issue.
05Assessment results and review
Assessment decisions are made against the published requirements for the relevant credential. Where a review process is available, a participant may request review of an apparent administrative, procedural or scoring error within the period communicated with the result.
A review is not a new assessment attempt unless the applicable program rules expressly provide otherwise. Partner-administered assessments remain subject to the partner's applicable rules.
06Verification
NEO& maintains a register of the credentials it issues and provides an online verification facility at /verify. The register confirms limited fields: holder name, credential, issue date, status and verification ID.
The verification facility covers NEO& credentials and the Strategy Dynamics credentials issued under license. NEO& maintains the register so that validly issued credentials remain verifiable, including after a program is withdrawn or a license arrangement ends.
OKRmentors credentials are verified through OKRmentors, which operates its own register and verification service. Personal data shown in the register is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
07What a credential means
A credential confirms that its holder met the applicable program and assessment requirements at the time it was awarded. It is not an academic degree, government license, regulated professional license, guarantee of employment or guarantee of future performance unless the program page expressly states otherwise.
It does not authorize the holder to teach, certify others, sublicense a method, use confidential materials, or represent NEO&, Strategy Dynamics Ltd or OKRmentors.
08Using the title and badge
A holder may state the credential exactly as awarded on a CV, professional profile or signature block and may reproduce an official badge in the form supplied, subject to any partner brand rules. The title or badge must not be altered, combined with misleading claims, used after formal withdrawal, or presented as evidence of a partnership, employment, agency or authority that does not exist.
09Corrections and reissues
Tell us promptly if a certificate contains an administrative error. If the error is ours, we will correct it without charge. If the candidate supplied an incorrect name or later requests a change, we may require reasonable evidence and may charge an administrative reissue cost disclosed before the reissue.
10Suspension and withdrawal
We may investigate a credential where there is credible evidence of impersonation, non-original assessment work, falsified evidence, material misrepresentation or misuse of the credential or badge.
Where appropriate, we will notify the holder of the concern and give a reasonable opportunity to respond before a final decision is made. A verification record may be temporarily suspended while a serious integrity concern is investigated. A credential may be withdrawn where the evidence supports withdrawal under the applicable program or partner rules.
11Validity and changes to standards
A NEO& credential does not expire unless the program page states an expiry or renewal requirement. Partner credentials follow the partner's validity and renewal rules. A later change in a standard does not ordinarily invalidate a credential properly earned under an earlier standard, unless the applicable credential rules expressly provide otherwise.
12Intellectual property
Credentials, badges, certificate designs and program materials remain the property of NEO& or the relevant licensor. A credential gives its holder no right in the Strategy Dynamics method or marks, the OKRmentors method or marks, or NEO&'s own materials.
A credential does not authorize its holder to teach the program, certify others, issue credentials, sublicense a method, reproduce program materials for third parties, or represent NEO&, Strategy Dynamics Ltd or OKRmentors. The restrictions on program materials, badges and recordings in our Terms of Sale continue to apply after a credential is awarded.
